Unified Technologies and Louisville Bats Baseball: A Grand Slam Relationship
Unified Technologies and the Louisville Bats have been partnering together for many years. Unified is a sponsor of the Bats and a big fan! Unified Technologies night took place on Friday, July 21st and our employees had a fantastic time. Dennis Amyx, Operations Manager got to throw a Ceremonial First Pitch and did a good pitch. Michael Gabhart, Chief Revenue Officer, got to hang in the press box and talk about Unified’s solutions over the radio while watching and commenting on some plays. Even our CEO, Adam Fischer, was part of the play action by catching one of the fly balls!
We had a chance to talk with The Louisville Bats recently and discuss Unified’s relationship and technology solutions with them.
Louisville Bats have been using the Mitel phone system for many years through Unified Technologies. Recently, through an IT audit and discovery session, Unified found some holes and issues with their IT infrastructure. This included major spam issues, Wi-Fi connection in the stadium basement, server issues and some other problems.
The Unified team met with the Louisville Bats IT personnel and their Executive Vice President, Michele Anderson, and laid out solutions with a plan to get their entire IT infrastructure on track. Unified proposed a solution with the exact equipment, installation, cybersecurity, and IT managed services that were needed with no gray areas.
Michele stated, “Unified’s implementation was exceptional and seamless. Keegan Morris, IT Systems Engineer and Dan Nelson, IT Systems Engineer, were both very thorough and hands on throughout the entire process. Unified got our new WiFi connection installed before an important audit and it has been working great for all the visiting teams. Recently, I had a bad email that locked up my mail connection and I called Unified right away. Jagger Simon, IT Help Desk Agent, had me fixed in 3 minutes. That is wonderful support!”
Michele cherishes the relationship with the entire Unified team and especially Trusted Advisor, John Marshall and CIO, Aaron Lowe for their continued dedication to the Louisville Bats. Unified also embraces this wonderful relationship and Louisville Bats Baseball.
